Ruby Sunshine manages to carve out its own identity by remaining consistent in its quality and welcoming in its approach. The kitchen team takes pride in the preparation of each plate, understanding that the details—from the texture of a biscuit to the balance of a signature sauce—are what define a memorable dining experience. It is this attention to the craft that keeps patrons returning, establishing the restaurant as a staple in the local dining rotation.
Beyond the food, the location itself plays a significant role in the overall appeal. Being situated in Charlotte’s South End allows the restaurant to participate in the growth and dynamism of one of the city’s most exciting districts. Cute place to visit.
The beignets, bacon, and biscuits were tasty. However, my grits and eggs had little to no seasoning; and everyone knows hot food should be properly flavored.
There were no parking spaces available in their lot, even though the restaurant was not full. As a result, we had to pay for parking across the street.
The “Louisiana-inspired” advertising drew me in, but unfortunately, they missed the mark when it came to delivering authentic Louisiana flavor.
